COLLIERY ACCIDENT.- About 4a.m. on the 16th inst., ten men employed at Garnant Colliery, Cwmamman, went on a colliery carriage for the purpose of descending the pit, and just as the engine was put in motion the rope broke and the carriage and its occupants fell into the bottom of the pit, where the men were found dead.
